What this is
An automatically maintained archive of anime wallpapers. A scheduled job
reads a curated set of community feeds once a day, filters out anything below
the resolution floor, converts each image to WebP, extracts its dominant colour
palette, and writes it into a static index. Nothing here is hand-tuned after
ingest — the point is that the collection keeps growing without anyone babysitting it.
Sizes available
Wallpapers are grouped by aspect ratio: desktop (16:9 and
16:10, typically 1920×1080 up to 3840×2160 4K), ultrawide
(21:9 and wider, for 3440×1440 and similar panels), and phone
(9:16 and taller, sized for modern handsets). Use the numbered filters in the
status bar, or press 1–4.
Why palettes
Every image is indexed by the colours actually in it, not by a tag someone
typed. If you rice your desktop — Hyprland, i3, AwesomeWM, Waybar, Kitty, a
Neovim colourscheme — you usually want the wallpaper and the theme to agree.
Filter by hue to find a wallpaper that already matches your palette, then copy
the extracted hex values straight out of the detail panel and drop them into
your config.
Credit and takedowns
Each item keeps a link back to the post it came from and the account that
posted it. Copyright stays with the original artists; this archive claims none
of it. If you made something here and want it gone, open an issue on the
repository and it will be removed from the next sync.
